Du Warren International descends from the time of the French Revolution when the Du Warren family left France for England and to a time when the Family owned and ran Warren’s Blacking Factory of London.

During this period a very young Charles Dickens worked for the Warren Bros.  From family accounts it was a harsh environment, which left an indelible mark on Charles’s mind. His parents insisted that he work in this factory due to family finance issues, Charles detested the appointment.
However Charles did gain something of worth from this experience and that was the characters for some of his novels from actual people he worked with in the Factory. He produced some of the worlds finest novels for us to enjoy even now.

Jonathon Warren in later life also spent time writing, this period being a prolific period producing fine writers such as (Dickens, Browning, Tennyson), had it not been for books and the writings of such authors, history would not have been recorded as clearly as it was.

Books have retained these writings for you and following generations to enjoy.

It is from that time that the Warren family descendants have continued with their love of Reading Books.
